Our Phone Free Education campaign officially launched on 1st September! The campaign is calling for the government to bring in a statutory ban of phones in schools and funding for resources, making it easier for schools to create phone-free environments that support learning, focus, and well-being.
As part of this work, we held a special parliamentary event on 20th October to raise awareness of the campaign and highlight the importance of creating spaces where children and young people can engage fully in their education without constant digital distractions. We had great engagement from MPs with over 35 turning up to the event.
Since the launch, we’ve seen fantastic engagement from schools and families, and we’re looking forward to continuing this work in 2026. Thank you to everyone supporting the campaign - together, we’re helping young people make space for learning, creativity, and well-being.
